Danny Sauerwein combines his love for storytelling with his love for data in his role as an SEO Account Manager to create winning strategies for clients that both enhance share of voice and resonate with target audiences. His passion for content strategy, augmented by actionable insights from performance analysis, allows him to discover inspired ways to help brands stand out and convert.
Danny began his career as a copywriter for a small ad agency out of St. Louis, Missouri, with a focus on writing snappy scripts for TV ads and punchy thought leadership pieces for clients across a variety of industries. After receiving multiple requests for help with SEO, he took it upon himself to become certified to better serve his clients, becoming enamored with the prospect of using empirical data to hone content to a wickedly competitive fine point. He continued to grow and add to his SEO skillsets over time, uncovering a new love for technical SEO in the process.
Danny finally arrived at DTC, utilizing his combined expertise to help each of his clients find new ways to stand apart from a crowded industry and meet their business goals.

When I’m not helping clients grow their brand, you can usually find me binging my favorite sci-fi shows, with my nose stuck in a high-fantasy novel, playing board games with my friends, or enjoying a good history documentary.

The two things I love most in this world are a good story and a good challenge. SEO combines both by posing a challenge for every client account I work on: “What is the best way to tell your story?” Every day, I get to help my clients find their voice by getting their messaging in front of the people they need, precisely at the moment they need to see it.

I collect hand-carved puzzle boxes whenever I travel! There’s often a striking beauty in their complexity, and they make for a unique conversation starter about the places I’ve been.
I love everything garden gnome! From calendars, to coasters, to seasonal gnomes and garlands to decorate my mantel, my home has more than its fair share of the little guys around.
Some friends and I will frequently get together to indulge in a shared love for absolutely terrible movies like Birdemic, VelociPastor, and Beastmaster 2.
