Ryan began his career first and foremost as a writer: his introduction to the world of SEO came in his role writing for a local Chicago sports memorabilia company. SEO proved an opportunity to combine his love of writing with data-informed content strategy that considers search intent; from here Ryan grew his SEO skills even more in further analyst roles, finally joining DTC as an SEO Account Manager in 2019.

Ryan has earned a variety of case studies in his work at DTC, including Cannabis company’s keyword visibility up 685%, Seamless site migration yields record leads + traffic, and University sees 400% increase in organic conversions.

Fun Facts About Me

My father was a DJ when I was growing up. I first learned to read from memorizing album covers in his record collection.

I was held back in kindergarten for being left-handed thanks to my teacher’s outdated belief that lefties had a learning disability. I’m still left-handed.

I am a big fan of the theater, especially improv comedy and show tunes.
