The Client

Founded in Chicago in 2016, Able Psychiatry emerged from a recognition that healing requires more than diagnoses and prescriptions; it needs a witness, a collaborator, someone willing to explore the complex space between suffering and possibility.

The Objective

Our goal was to identify why Able Psychiatry has lost its positioning, traffic, and inbound leads. We discovered that a previous agency had blocked the website from being indexed on Google, so our strategy was to course-correct to regain previous traffic levels and continue growth going forward.

SEO Strategy

  •

    The problem

  • Able Psychiatry’s decline in rankings, traffic, and inbound leads was driven by foundational issues created by the previous agency. The site was left without page titles, without a clear keyword strategy, with duplicate content, without proper landing pages, with nofollow and noindex tags that restricted visibility, with underdeveloped content and with no tracking setup. Together, those issues limited search visibility and made it difficult to measure what was working.

  •

    The solution

  • To fix it, we focused on the areas that were doing the most damage. We corrected missing page titles, cleaned up duplicate content, fixed improper nofollow and noindex tags, added tracking, and built a real keyword strategy where there hadn’t been one before. We also strengthened weak site content, created four effective service landing pages, published six new blog posts, and updated four existing blogs. The work centered on high-intent searches like “Chicago ketamine therapy,” “Chicago psychiatrist,” “Chicago TMS therapy,” and “compassionate psychiatry,” along with closely related variations.

  •

    Why it matters

  • These fixes mattered because they restored the site’s ability to rank, gave Able Psychiatry a clear keyword strategy, and made it possible to attract, track, and improve qualified lead generation.

This indexed view of three-month YoY organic search performance shows a 41% increase in clicks and a 232% increase in impressions. This shows how the campaign increased both reach in search results and the volume of opportunities to earn traffic.

Using the prior six-month period as a benchmark, this chart shows broad gains in site performance. Sessions increased 59% and new users rose 67%, while key events jumped 174%, suggesting stronger traffic quality and a significant lift in high-value on-site activity.

Results

Within six months, Able Psychiatry surpassed its pre-block traffic high after recovering from a four-month removal from Google. Performance improved across both visibility and engagement metrics, with clicks up 41% and impressions up 232% in the three-month YoY comparison. Over six months, sessions increased 59%, new users grew 67%, and key events rose 174%, showing that the recovery translated into stronger traffic and more meaningful on-site actions.
