Our commitment to you includes regular monthly reporting customized to align with your specific requirements. In addition, we offer bespoke reporting, all presented in the format that works best for you. We have established client reports that are designed to show the metrics that matter most to SEO, but we will also incorporate the metrics that matter most to your business.
To streamline this process, we leverage Looker Studio, a powerful tool that consolidates data from various sources, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Semrush, and Google Search Console, and presents it in a comprehensive dashboard. This dashboard is accessible via a shared URL, allowing you to view, share, and collaborate effortlessly.
What sets us apart is that all of our reporting is fully customizable, giving you the flexibility to pull in any metrics or dashboard views you desire. One size doesn’t fit all. We offer the flexibility to customize your reports, ensuring you receive the specific insights you require to make informed decisions and track your SEO progress effectively.

In this section of our report, we detail the specific tasks and strategies we’ve implemented during the previous month. Whether it’s on-page optimizations, content creation, or technical SEO improvements, we outline every action we’ve taken to enhance your online presence.
Transparency is a cornerstone of our reporting. We present a comprehensive analysis of the results we’ve achieved up to the present month. This includes key performance metrics like organic traffic growth, keyword ranking improvements, and the impact on conversion rates. Additionally, we highlight any notable milestones or achievements during this period.
Looking ahead, we outline our strategic roadmap for the upcoming month and beyond. We discuss the objectives, priorities, and initiatives we plan to undertake to further boost your SEO performance. This section serves as a roadmap for our future actions and is aligned with your broader business goals.

We don’t just provide data; we offer valuable insights. In our reports, you’ll find information about emerging SEO trends, industry updates, and actionable recommendations tailored to your unique business needs. These insights help you stay ahead in the ever-changing SEO landscape.

Our reports are not one-way communication. We encourage open and collaborative discussions. If you have questions, need clarification, or wish to explore new ideas, our team is readily available to engage in productive conversations. Your feedback and input are invaluable to us.
We understand that every client is unique, and your reporting needs may vary. If there are specific KPIs, metrics, or areas of focus that are of particular interest to you, we can tailor our reports to ensure they align with your priorities.
By following this comprehensive reporting format, we aim to provide you with a 360-degree view of our SEO efforts and their impact on your digital presence. Our reports are not just documents; they are a reflection of our commitment to your success and a roadmap for our collaborative journey in the world of SEO.
Tracking the right metrics is crucial for measuring the effectiveness of your campaign. Here are some of the most important SEO metrics you will find in our reports:
• Organic Traffic: We monitor the number of visitors coming to your site through organic search results. This includes all of the major search engines as well as tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity.
• Keyword Rankings: We keep track of your target keyword positions in search engine results pages (SERPS).
• Conversion Rate: Ultimately, the goal is to convert visitors into customers. We track how many visitors that come from organic search turn into leads.
• Engagement Rate: Are visitors engaging with your content? Metrics like time on page, pages per session, and dwell time show how engaging your content is. “Engagement rate” has replaced the old “bounce rate” metric in GA4 as an important metric for assessing how useful and relevant your content is to visitors.
• Backlinks: Monitor the number and quality of backlinks to your site. High-quality and relevant backlinks are the most valuable.
• Indexation: Ensure that search engines are indexing all of your important pages. We use Google’s Search Console to monitor your site’s indexation. If certain pages are not being indexed, we’ll take steps to remedy the situation.
• Domain Authority (DA): This metric, which ranges from 1 to 100, indicates the strength of your domain. Over time, DA has gained popularity as a straightforward number that allows for comparison among websites. However, it can be misleading because it does not consider the individual pages or critical elements like content relevancy. We consider DA to be a quick tool for evaluating a website’s authority; however, it shouldn’t be seen as the sole factor in determining your rankings.
• Local SEO Metrics: If you have a physical location, we track local SEO metrics, including Google Business Places (GBP) performance, reviews and local keyword rankings.
• Crawl Errors and Technical Issues: Regularly check for crawl errors and technical issues that could hinder your site’s performance. Things like 404 errors, server errors, canonicals, and duplicate content can affect your rankings and should be fixed as soon as possible.
We start with a summary slide to track the monthly progress of what matters most to you. We also highlight major takeaways from the month and what’s coming next.

Organic traffic, like that of any medium, can vary month-to-month and season-to-season. We use this section to keep an eye on long-term organic traffic trends.

Total organic traffic is a fine high-level performance indicator, but it’s important to understand where organic users are entering your site. This section breaks down organic traffic by landing page, device type, and search engine. We also measure how many conversions were tied back to each entry point to see which pages are driving the most value for your organization.

Our conversion reports can compare e-commerce metrics like revenue or purchases, or any other GA4 events such as form fills or newsletter sign-ups. We display how these trend over time, as well as break down by medium to see how organic traffic compares to the rest of your digital marketing efforts.

This portion of the conversion report compares site traffic and conversions broken down by medium to see if one type of traffic is driving an outsized portion of one or the other. Perhaps organic traffic is not driving very much traffic but it’s converting very well – this is a way to tell that story visually.

In addition to traffic and conversion metrics from GA4, we also report on keyword data from Semrush and Google click and impression data from Google Search Console. The below chart is an example of tracked keywords broken down by position group over time – a good indicator of your site’s SERP visibility for the keywords that are most important to you.

“I always feel like their only client, which is amazing.”
“They are immediately responsive to me and my needs and have worked hard to understand my business and competitors. I don’t feel like DTC and Lombardo are two different companies, but rather two departments working on the same team... The people that I’ve come in contact with at DTC have been amazing. I don’t know what you guys go through internally and what the training is, but even something as simple as customer service and being attentive to the client, and then coming up with real-life solutions is great. They’ve been superstars through all of this. I couldn’t say enough good things about what they’ve done for us, for our business. I would emphatically recommend them to anyone looking for this.”
