How I Spend My Free Time

I love to read about history. I love all time periods, but my favorite to read and learn about will always be World War II! So far, I have been able to see the USS Alabama and the National WWII Museum! Aside from history, staying active, traveling, and being with family! I also love to be outside. I’ve lived in the land of 10,000 lakes, in the great planes of South Dakota and now on the beach! I have a huge appreciation for nature and hope to eventually live in the mountains!

I love incorporating my experience as a local journalist and applying it to the outreach I now get to do for Digital Third Coast! I enjoy the feeling of writing an attention-grabbing pitch that takes off with success and gains tremendous coverage!

Learn More About Me

Something that people don’t know about me is that my family started a non-profit foundation in honor of my brother, Curtis. He died suddenly of an undiagnosed heart condition in 2018 when he was 18 years old. Now, the Curtis LeMair Legacy Foundation aims to promote awareness of sudden cardiac death in young athletes, change legislation, along with raising money for scholarships for high school students in the Midwest.

I’m extremely proud of my family and the work that’s been done for the foundation.
